How to build a workout plan in the Creator

Open Workout and click Add Exercise. Start typing the exercise name; the clip you uploaded under that name appears, and picking it brings the preview alive. Set the number of sets and the work and rest seconds with the plus and minus buttons, add the rest of the exercises the same way and hit Save (the Creator also autosaves). The plan is what generates every countdown timer, exercise label, rest screen and next-exercise preview in the video, the recording and the Zoom class.

Step by step

  1. 1

    Add an exercise

Click Add Exercise and type the name. Clips are matched by name, so a clip uploaded as Burpees appears when you type Bur.

  2. 2

    Set sets, work and rest

Plus and minus adjust each value. A typical HIIT round is 40 seconds work, 20 seconds rest.

  3. 3

    Order and repeat

Drag exercises to reorder. Rounds and circuits repeat the block; AMRAP shows all exercises of the round on one screen.

  4. 4

Give it a title and save

The title appears on the opener and is what you pick in the Recorder, the Zoom app and the mobile app.

Workout length per plan

A planned workout can run up to 30 minutes on Starter, 90 on Pro and 120 on Ultimate. Starter exports at 1080p, Pro and Ultimate up to 4K.

Common questions

Can I use an exercise I have no clip for?
Add it anyway: the timer and name still show, with the Fit Cut Pro demo clips available as stand-ins until you upload your own.
Can Claude build the plan for me?
Yes. With the Fit Cut Pro connector in Claude you describe the session and Claude creates the plan from your clip library and renders it.
