Getting started
- How to start the Fit Cut Pro free trial
Create an account at app.fitcutpro.com and the 14-day trial starts: 5 workout videos, every feature, no credit card. Which sign-in to pick and what happens when the trial ends.
- Which browsers and devices work with Fit Cut Pro?
Fit Cut Pro runs in Chrome, Safari and Edge on Mac, Windows and Chromebook, with an Android app for the AI Editor. What each part needs, and how to use your phone as the camera.
Exercise clips
- How to upload and trim exercise clips
Build your exercise library: upload any video, cut each exercise to its best 12 seconds (20 maximum), name it after the exercise and finish the queue. Keyboard shortcuts and naming rules.
- How to remove a green screen from an exercise clip
In Clips, open the menu on a clip, sample the green, set the tolerance and process. The background is removed in your browser in seconds and the clean clip works everywhere in Fit Cut Pro.
- How to show an easier exercise variation in a workout video
Link an easier clip to an exercise in Clips and it plays picture-in-picture during the set in exports, recordings and Zoom classes. Rename the Easier label in Design.
Creator
- How to build a workout plan in the Creator
Open Workout, click Add Exercise, type the exercise name to pull in your clip, set sets, work and rest with plus and minus, repeat and save. The plan drives timers, labels, rest screens and the next-exercise preview.
- How to export a workout video
Pick the look, aspect ratio and quality in Design, click Export and keep the tab open while the MP4 renders on Fit Cut Pro servers. Where the file lands, what counts against your plan and how long it takes.
AI Editor
- How to add timers to a class you already filmed
Upload one continuous recording, click Analyze with AI, check the cues on the timeline, pick a design and export. What the Editor needs, how long it takes and what you can fix before exporting.
- How to fix the cues the AI Editor found
Rename a cue, drag its edge, split a set, mark a section as no timer, delete it, or reset everything to the original analysis. Edits are saved to the project and shown in the preview before you export.
- AI Editor file formats, size and length limits
MP4 or MOV, one continuous file up to 25 GB; 30 minutes on the trial and Starter, 60 on Pro, 90 on Ultimate; storage per plan; what happens with very short or very long recordings.
- How to use the AI Editor on an Android phone
Install Fit Cut Pro from Google Play, sign in with the same account, pick a workout recording and let the AI add timers, names and your logo. Uploads run in the background and exports download to the phone.
Zoom
- How to set up the workout timer in Zoom
Install Workout Timer and Overlays by Fit Cut Pro from the Zoom App Marketplace, sign in with email and password, start your camera, pick a saved workout and press play. The timer, exercise name, next-exercise clip and your logo run on your camera for everyone.
- Zoom app troubleshooting: sign-in, camera and missing clips
The most common fixes for the Fit Cut Pro Zoom app: sign in with email and password, start the camera before loading the workout, restart the app to pick up new clips, and check that your membership is active.
Design and branding
- How to add your logo and brand colours
Upload a PNG logo once in Design and set your theme colour, text colour, font and timer style; they apply to every export, recording and Zoom class. Size sliders, hiding elements and the Editor Motion looks.
- How to add an opener, ending and rest-break clip to your videos
The Design panel has a slot for an Opener, an Ending and a Rest break. Switch a slot to Video clip and pick a FIT AI clip or upload your own (up to 20 seconds); it plays in every export and recording from then on.
Account and billing
- Plan limits: what counts as a workout video
Starter 10, Pro 40 and Ultimate 100 workout videos a month; what counts (Creator and Editor exports, recordings), the trial’s 5 videos, Editor minutes, clip storage and AI credits per plan.
- How to change or cancel your subscription
Web subscriptions bill through PayPal: cancel under Automatic payments in your PayPal account and the plan runs to the end of the paid period. To change plans, cancel the old one and subscribe to the new one from the pricing page in the app. Android subscriptions are managed in Google Play.
- How to delete your Fit Cut Pro account
Delete the account from the mobile app (account icon, Delete account) or by emailing support@fitcutpro.com from the account’s address. Deletion is permanent and removes sign-in, clips, workouts and exports.
- How to build workout videos from Claude
Connect Fit Cut Pro in Claude under Customize, Connectors, sign in, and ask for a workout: Claude plans it from your clip library and renders the branded MP4 on Fit Cut Pro servers. What it can and cannot do.
