NEW · VOICE CUES

Your Workouts Now Talk.
In Your Voice.

Voice cues in Fit Cut Pro are short spoken lines that play automatically at the right moment in your workout videos: each exercise's name in the rest before it, a form tip at its first set, and trainer cues such as “Rest”, “Next”, “Last round” and a spoken “3, 2, 1, Go”. They work in the Creator (videos built from your exercise clips) and in the Editor (one long recording cut into exercises and rests). Record each line in the browser, upload an audio file, or type it and generate an AI voice; on Pro and Ultimate the AI can speak in your own voice. Recording and uploading are free on every plan, trial included. AI voice lines are on paid plans ($49.99, $99.99 or $199.99 per month) and cost 1 AI credit per 250 characters.

What a rest sounds like

Record each line once. Every workout then says it at exactly the right moment, with the music dipping underneath. Here is the rest before the final round of a circuit, and the first seconds of the workout.

The rest before the final round
  1. Beepthe rest opens
  2. “Rest”trainer cue
  3. “Last round”trainer cue
  4. “Next”trainer cue
  5. “Jumping lunges”the clip's Name
  6. 3 · 2 · 1beeps
  7. Jumping lungesthe set starts
The start of the workout
  1. “Get ready”trainer cue
  2. “Squat jumps”first exercise's Name
  3. “3, 2, 1, Go”spoken countdown
  4. Squat jumpsits Info tip plays at this first set

Short rest? Lines are dropped so nothing talks over the 3-2-1: “Rest” goes first, then “Last round”, then “Next”. The exercise name is the last line to go.

Music dips under every line. In the Editor, the trainer's own audio dips too.

Two lines per exercise clip: Name and Info

Voice lines belong to the clip in your Clips library. Set them once and every workout that uses the clip says them. Each clip row has a voice icon that opens its Name and Info.

Name

The exercise name, for example “Jumping lunges”. It is said in the rest before that exercise, right after “Next”. Up to 4 seconds.

Info

A short form tip, such as “Knee over the ankle, chest up.” It plays once per workout, at that exercise's first set. Up to 15 seconds.

On Pro and Ultimate, the ✨ button writes the Info tip for you in your app language, sized to fit 15 seconds. It is free and uses no credits.

Trainer cues, recorded once for every workout

Trainer cues are shared by all your workouts. Make them once in the Voice studio and they play wherever they fit.

“Get ready”
At the start of the workout.
“3, 2, 1, Go”
Spoken, at the start of the workout only. Every later rest and set keeps the 3-2-1 beeps.
“Rest”
As each rest opens.
“Next”
In each rest, right before the next exercise's name.
“Halfway”
Halfway through sets of 30 seconds or longer.
“Last round”
In the rest before the final round.
“Well done”
At the end of the workout.

Timing rules

  • Start of the workout: “Get ready”, then the first exercise's name, then the spoken 3-2-1-Go.
  • Each rest: the beep that opens the rest; then “Rest”, “Last round” (when it applies), “Next” and the exercise name; then the 3-2-1 beeps.
  • A short rest never talks over the 3-2-1. Lines are dropped in this order: “Rest” first, then “Last round”, then “Next”. The name is kept to the end.
  • Music dips under every line. In the Editor, the trainer's own audio dips too.
  • Editor: a clip's lines play when the clip's name matches the exercise name the AI detected. The announcement plays when the next-exercise preview window appears.
  • Settings: switch voice cues on or off per workout in the Creator or per project in the Editor, and choose which cue types play. In the Editor, Info and the spoken countdown start switched off.
  • Preview: the Creator preview plays the cues and beeps live; the Editor preview plays the beeps.

Three ways to make a line

Every line opens the same Produce window. Use whichever suits the moment, and mix them freely.

Record

Record in the browser with a 3-2-1 countdown and a level meter. Replay, retry, then click “Use this”. Silence is trimmed and the volume normalised automatically.

Upload

Already have the audio? Upload a file of up to 15 MB.

AI voice

Type the text, pick a voice and click Generate. Review the take, then click “Use this” or “Try again”.

Native voices in your clients' language

Choose from natural multilingual AI voices, plus native-speaker voices for your app language: Hebrew, Spanish and German speakers, for example. Voice cues cover all 16 Fit Cut Pro app languages, so a Spanish class sounds like a Spanish coach, not a translation. Recording or uploading your own lines works in any language.

Your own AI voice, on Pro and Ultimate

Read a script of about 90 seconds once, in your language, after an explicit consent step. From then on the AI speaks your cues in your voice: type a new exercise name and it sounds like you said it.

Delete your voice at any time; that deletes the recordings and every line made with it. Up to 3 voice set-ups per month.

Consent and privacy

  • Voice samples are stored and processed by ElevenLabs, our voice provider, to make a voice that only your account can use.
  • We don't use voices to train AI models.
  • Our EULA forbids cloning anyone else's voice.
