How to create (and delete) your own AI voice
On the Pro or Ultimate plan, open the Voice side tab, open Voice studio on the Voice tab and click Create my AI voice under My voice. Agree to the consent text, read one consent sentence aloud, then read a script of about 90 seconds, in three parts and in your app language, in your normal coaching tone. Your AI voice is ready within about a minute and only your account can use it; from then on, the AI voice lines you generate speak in your voice and use AI credits (1 per started 250 characters). To remove it, click Delete my voice: that deletes the AI voice, the recordings you made to create it, including your spoken consent, and every line generated with it. Lines you recorded or uploaded yourself stay.

Step by step

Open My voice
Voice side tab, Voice studio, Voice tab, My voice, then Create my AI voice. It is part of the Pro and Ultimate plans.

Consent
Read the consent text: it is your own voice, you are 18 or older, and you ask Fit Cut Pro to store the recordings and have them processed by ElevenLabs, its voice provider, to make a voice only your account can use. Tick I have read and agree to the above.

Say it
Type your name and read the consent sentence aloud. The recording is kept as your consent.

Read
Read the three-part script (about 90 seconds in total) the way you coach: natural pace, real energy. Use a quiet room and keep the phone or laptop microphone about 20 cm away. Re-take any part you are not happy with.

Create
Click Create my voice. Uploading the recordings and creating the voice can take up to a minute.

Use it
New AI voice lines now use your voice. Set up the trainer cues and exercise names in it from Voice studio, or switch back to a stock voice any time.
Privacy and consent
Your voice samples are stored and processed by ElevenLabs, Fit Cut Pro’s voice provider, to create a voice that only your account can use, to generate cues for your workout videos. Fit Cut Pro does not use voices to train AI models and does not share them except to provide this feature. The EULA forbids cloning anyone else’s voice. Full details are in the privacy policy.
Deleting your voice
In Voice studio, Voice tab, click Delete my voice and confirm. It deletes your AI voice, the recordings you made to create it (including your spoken consent) and every voice line generated with it, and it cannot be undone. Lines you recorded or uploaded yourself are kept. Deleting your Fit Cut Pro account deletes the voice and recordings too.
Limits
Your own voice is part of the Pro ($99.99 per month) and Ultimate ($199.99) plans. You can set up your voice at most 3 times a month. Lines in your voice cost AI credits like any AI line, the trainer cues included; Pro has 100 AI credits a month and Ultimate 300, shared with FIT AI.
Common questions
- Can I clone a client’s or another coach’s voice?
- No. The consent step is for your own voice, and the EULA forbids cloning anyone else’s.
- Is my voice used to train AI?
- No. It is used only to make the voice cues for your account.
- I am on Starter. Which voices can I use?
- Every stock voice: the multilingual AI voices and the native-speaker voices for your app language. Your own voice needs Pro or Ultimate. Recording your lines yourself is free on every plan.
- Can I make my voice again later?
- Yes. Delete it and create it again; voice set-ups are limited to 3 a month.
