When each voice cue plays

At the start of the workout you hear “Get ready”, then the first exercise’s name, then a spoken “3, 2, 1, Go”. Every rest opens with the beep, then “Rest”, “Last round” if the final round is next, “Next” and the next exercise’s name, then the usual 3-2-1 beeps. Each exercise’s Info tip plays once per workout, at its first set; “Halfway” plays in sets of 30 seconds or longer and “Well done” at the end. If a rest is too short for everything, lines are dropped so nothing talks over the 3-2-1, and the exercise name is kept to the end. Music dips under every line; in the Editor the trainer’s own audio dips too.

The start of the workout

“Get ready”, then the name of the first exercise (without “Next”), then the spoken “3, 2, 1, Go” as the first set begins. The spoken countdown plays only at the start of the workout, and only when all four lines (3, 2, 1 and Go) exist and Countdown voice is on; otherwise the start keeps the beeps. Every later rest and set keeps the 3-2-1 beeps.

Every rest

First the beep that opens the rest. Then “Rest”, then “Last round” (only in the rest before the final round), then “Next” and the name of the exercise that follows. Then the 3-2-1 beeps lead into the set.

If an exercise follows another with no rest in between, its name is said as its set starts.

Short rests

A rest never talks over its 3-2-1. When the lines do not fit, they are dropped in this order: “Rest” first, then “Last round”, then “Next”. The exercise name is kept to the end, because it is the line people need most.

During sets and at the end

The Info tip of each exercise plays once per workout, at that exercise’s first set; later sets of the same exercise stay quiet. “Halfway” plays halfway through sets of 30 seconds or longer. “Well done” plays at the end of the workout.

Music and your own audio

Music dips under every line so the cue is clear, then comes back. In the Editor, the audio of your recording (your own coaching) dips under the cues too.

In the AI Editor

A clip’s Name and Info lines play when the clip’s name matches the exercise name the AI detected (or the name you typed on the cue). Capital letters, punctuation and plural endings do not matter, so Push-ups matches push up. The announcement plays when the next-exercise preview window appears on screen.

Voice cues are switched on per project. Info and Countdown voice are off by default in the Editor; switch them on in the Voice side tab if you want them.

Settings and preview

Creator: voice cues are on or off per workout, plus which cue types play (Rest, Next + exercise name, Exercise info, Countdown voice and Extras: Get ready, Halfway, Last round and Well done). Editor: the same, per project.

The Creator preview plays the cues and beeps live, so you hear the workout before exporting. The Editor preview plays the beeps; the cues are mixed in on export.

Common questions

Why was “Next” not said in one rest?
The rest was too short for every line. “Rest”, “Last round” and “Next” are dropped in that order so nothing talks over the 3-2-1; the name stays.
My Editor video does not say an exercise name. Why?
The clip’s name has to match the detected exercise name. Click the cue on the Editor timeline and give it the clip’s name (or pick the clip from your library).
Does the spoken countdown replace every 3-2-1?
No. “3, 2, 1, Go” is spoken only at the start of the workout; every later rest and set keeps the beeps.
Why does the Editor preview only beep?
The Editor preview plays the beeps; the voice cues are added when you export. The Creator preview plays both live.
