AI Editor file formats, size and length limits

The Editor takes one continuous recording as MP4 or MOV, landscape or portrait, up to 25 GB, from any phone, camera, the Fit Cut Pro Recorder or a Zoom recording. Length limits are 30 minutes on the trial and Starter, 60 minutes on Pro and 90 minutes on Ultimate. Analysis is free; the export counts as one of your monthly workout videos. Recordings under three minutes are turned away with a pointer to the Creator, which suits short clips better.

Before you upload

Record in one take: press record, run the class, stop. The analysis uses what is visible and audible, so keep the exercises in frame and say the exercise names out loud if you can; the trainer’s own cues are the best boundary signal.

Very large 4K files upload slowly; the Android app shrinks recordings to 1080p on the phone before uploading, and the web Editor makes a 1080p working copy on the server so exports do not depend on the original size.

Storage

Editor uploads are stored with the project so you can re-export with a different look. Storage is per plan: 50 GB on the trial, 60 GB on Starter, 100 GB on Pro and 300 GB on Ultimate. Deleting a project frees its space.

Common questions

My recording is 45 minutes and I am on Starter
Starter allows 30 minutes. Either trim the recording in any editor before uploading or move to Pro (60 minutes) or Ultimate (90).
Can I upload a Zoom cloud recording?
Yes. Download the MP4 from Zoom and upload it; participants are not analysed, only the trainer’s exercises.
Does the upload continue if I close the tab?
In the browser, no: keep the tab open until the upload bar completes. The Android app uploads in the background.
