How to add timers to a class you already filmed

Open the Editor (the first tab in the app), click New video and pick the recording: one continuous MP4 or MOV file, up to 25 GB. Give it a name; the upload runs while you keep working. Click Analyze with AI and the Editor finds every exercise and rest and puts them on a timeline as named cues; a 30-minute class takes a few minutes. Check the cues, choose a design and click Export MP4. The finished video, with countdown timers, exercise names, a next-exercise window and your logo over your own footage, renders on the server and downloads automatically.

Step by step

  1. 1

    New video

Pick the recording from your computer. Landscape or portrait both work and the export keeps the orientation. Keep the tab open until the upload finishes.

  2. 2

    Analyze with AI

The video is analysed in five-minute pieces in parallel, so a one-hour recording does not take much longer than a twenty-minute one. You can leave the page; the result is saved to the project.

  3. 3

    Check the cues

Each cue is an exercise or a rest. The preview shows exactly what the export will look like. Rename, drag a boundary, split or delete before you export.

  4. 4

    Design

Pick a timer style, your colours, font and logo. Every Creator style works here, plus the ten animated Motion looks.

  5. 5

    Export MP4

New exercises the AI found can go straight into your Clips library. The MP4 lands in your downloads and under Recorded.

Limits by plan

Recordings up to 30 minutes on the trial and Starter, 60 minutes on Pro and 90 on Ultimate. Files up to 25 GB. Each export counts as one of your monthly workout videos. Recordings shorter than three minutes are better served by the Creator, and the app says so.

Common questions

Does it keep my voice?
Yes. Your audio is kept and the transition beeps are mixed over it. Add a licensed track afterwards in the Music editor if you want one.
What if the AI gets a cue wrong?
Click it to rename, drag its edge to move the boundary, split a set in two or delete it. Reset cuts and cues brings the original analysis back.
Can I do this on my phone?
Yes, with the Android app from Google Play; the iPhone app is coming.
