Workout Videos in Your Clients’ Language: Native AI Voices for Trainers
Short answer: If your clients speak Spanish, German, Hebrew or any of Fit Cut Pro’s 16 app languages, your workout videos can coach them in it. Set the app to their language and the Voice studio lists native-speaker AI voices for that language first, then natural multilingual voices; type each exercise name and form tip in the language, generate it, and every Creator and Editor workout says the right line at the right moment. On Pro and Ultimate, the ✨ button writes each exercise’s form tip in your app language for free, and you can create an AI voice from your own that reads your cues. AI voice lines need a paid plan and cost 1 AI credit per started 250 characters; recording the lines yourself is free on every plan.
Why spoken cues in the right language matter
During a hard interval nobody reads the screen. People listen for the next move while they catch their breath, so the spoken cue does the work the on-screen name cannot. In a second language, a quick “Next: hip thrusters” is easy to miss; in your own, it lands at once.
It also widens who you can coach. A trainer in Madrid with a German-speaking client group, a studio in Tel Aviv coaching in Hebrew, or an online coach selling in Japan can give each audience videos that speak to them, without hiring voice talent.
Native-speaker voices or multilingual voices?
Fit Cut Pro offers two kinds of AI voice. Native-speaker voices sound like a native speaker of your language, for example a Hebrew, Spanish or German speaker, and appear in their own Native voices section for the language your app is set to. Multilingual voices are natural AI voices that speak whichever language you type.
For short coaching lines, native voices usually win: exercise names and quick cues such as “Rest” and “Next” are exactly where accent and stress give a non-native voice away. Multilingual voices are the better choice when you publish in more than one language and want the same voice in each. Play a few of both with a real line before you voice the whole library.
The 16 app languages are English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Polish, Hungarian, Greek, Russian, Hebrew, Arabic, Japanese, Korean and Chinese (Simplified and Traditional).
Setting it up
Set the app language to your clients’ language, then open the Voice side tab and the Voice studio. On the Voice tab, pick a native or multilingual voice. On Trainer cues, the default wording follows your app language; Set up basic cues with this voice creates every missing trainer cue at once, free in a stock voice. On Exercises, Voice all exercise names voices every clip that has no name line yet, in one request.
Name your clips in the same language and use the same words in each spoken Name line, so what clients see on screen and what they hear match. In the AI Editor this also matters for matching: a clip’s lines play when its name matches the exercise name on the cue.
AI-written form tips in your language
Every clip has an Info line: a form tip of up to 15 seconds, played once per workout at that exercise’s first set. On Pro and Ultimate, the ✨ button writes it for you in your app language, sized to fit 15 seconds, at no credit cost. Check it the way you would check a new coach’s cueing, adjust the wording to how you teach, then generate it in your chosen voice or record it yourself.
Your own voice, in your language
On Pro and Ultimate you can also create an AI voice from your own. You read a script of about 90 seconds once, in your app language, after an explicit consent step; the AI then speaks your cues in your voice. Only your account can use it, it is never used to train AI models, and you can delete it at any time, which also deletes the recordings and every line made with it.
What it costs
AI voice lines need a paid plan and cost 1 AI credit per started 250 characters per request. Starter ($49.99 per month) includes 30 AI credits, Pro ($99.99) 100 and Ultimate ($199.99) 300, shared with FIT AI images and videos; top-ups are available. On Pro that covers about 150 exercises, name plus tip, a month. The trainer cues are free in any stock voice, native voices included, and recording or uploading your own lines in any language is free on every plan, the 14-day trial included.
Frequently asked questions
- Can one workout speak two languages?
- Each clip holds one Name and one Info line, so a library speaks one language at a time. Pick the language your clients use; you can type any line in any language.
- What if all native voices are in use?
- The app asks you to pick a native voice that is already set up (one without the Set up on first use note) or a multilingual voice.
- Does the AI-written tip cost credits?
- No. Writing the tip is free on Pro and Ultimate; voicing it in an AI voice uses credits like any AI line.
- Do voice cues work in the Zoom app?
- No. Voice cues play in Creator and Editor videos; the Zoom app and the Recorder do not speak them.
